Framing Locky’s Patch for Brisbane Broncos
At bizarre framing, we are associated with many different sporting teams and support various organisations in our community.
One of biggest supporters, and a team we do a tremendous amount of framing work for, is the Brisbane Broncos. Over the years we have framed a variety of items for both players, coaches and fans.
One of our more unusual jobs was to this one where we were asked to frame A PATCH OF GRASS. But not just any piece of soil, it was the part of Suncorp Stadium that was nicknamed “Locky’s Patch” and was auctioned off to raise funds for charity at the Brisbane Broncos Charity Ball 2014.
It was memorabilia to commemorate Darren Lockyer’s last act as a Bronco and is dated September 11, 2011.
We are always honoured when we are asked to frame things like this as we understand the importance and how special this is. With items like this, we utilise all our years of framing experience to make sure the end result is exceptional.
